As you all know I missed the race in Memphis and are disappointed as I am, there is a silver lining in fact that the 73 car made the race. Chase Miller was not to good in practice so in the second practice I got in the car for a couple of laps and ran faster then him but the car was to tight for me so they worked on it and put Chase back in it with new tires and he went a lot faster then me but buy the time he got the speed we were looking for the tires were used up so I never got a chance to...

Time to forget about last weeks disapointment, by focusing on this week. Kevin will again be driving the #78 at Memphis this week. No driver currently listed in the #73, with Derrike trying to qualify his #75 Cup car at Martinsville.

On Friday, the Nationwide series has two practices scheduled. The first is from 230 (Eastern) to 4, and it won't be broadcast. The final session is from 430 to 6 and it will air on ESPN2.

On Saturday, qualifying is at 1035 with it...

I have been doing a START & PARK with Derrike Cope this year in order to build a platform for next year. Without SPONSORSHIP its hard to race on Nascar's purse. Since being with Derrike I have made every race except Michigan which we had some steering problems that we couldn't fix at the track. I also have had a couple deals come my way since being at the track and if was at home these deals would have past me by, these deals are to race fulltime in 2010. So who CARES I DO.

Kevin will once again be running the #78 this weekend at Charlotte with Derrike driving the #73.

The schedule for this weekend has the first practice session starting on Thursday from 115 to 250 pm. This session will not be televised. The final practice will run on Thursday from 6-7 pm and it will be aired on ESPN2.

On Friday, qualifying will run at 3 pm on ESPN2, currently 50 cars are entered so Kevin will have to beat 7 cars to make the race. Assuming that all goes...

Jayski's entry list has Kevin attempting California in the #78 with Derrike driving the #73.

The weekends schedule has the only practice running on Friday from 3-530 Eastern time with the session airing on Speed from MIdnight to 2 am Friday night/Saturday morning.

Qualifying is Saturday at noon...but it isn't televised.

Assuming all goes well the pre race coverage starts at 4 with the Camping World RV 300 starts around 430 on ESPN2.

According to jayski's entry list, Kevin is set to return to racing at Kansas this week. He'll be in the #78, while Derrike will be in the #73. Jayski is also saying that Derrike is running a #79 car with Jennifer Jo Cobb in it with sponsorship from Capitol Federal Savings.

It seems that Kevin or Derrike aren't running Dover this week. They are not on any of the entry lists. I'm guessing that it is a combination of the crash at Richmond and Derrike DNQ at New Hampshire??

Heres a thought, Kevin has had 2 good starting positions in the last 2 races, now if Derrick parked his car and focused totally on Kevins car, does anyone think it would be better for Kevin?

Here is the schedule for Richmond. Kevin is again running the #78 this week. It is a one day show. The only practice is set for Friday from 9-1145 with it airing on ESPN2 from 10-12. Qualifying is on Friday from 4-530 on ESPN2. Assuming all goes well, prerace for the Virginia College Savings 250 is set for Friday at 7 on ESPN2 with the race starting around 730.

Vermont Visit

Just got back from Vermont where I visited with classmates, stop by Thunder Road for the last thursday night race and had a Great time with some of my old racing buddies. Also enjoyed a get together with family and friends and even stopped by the Champlain Valley fair for a few hours. Now off to Atlanta and the rest of the racing season trying to get ready for 2010.

First of all I would like to thank all my fans for the support over the years, THANK YOU. Now to answer all your concerns, my ride with Derrike is a start and park but may race some if we get sponsorship. As for the lawsuit we are now heading to court on Oct 5th for a hearing with jury. We had a 7 hour mediation 2 weeks ago and they wanted to settle and we gave them 48 hrs to accept our offer and they change there minds. So now its court time and the way I look at it they all are playing the...

2. Is your ride with Cope just a start and park team? (would be nice to know what the plans are, as its very dissapointing from a fans side to get excitied to see you make a race and then just park.)

It's time to go again. Kevin is running Derrike's #73 this weekend at Michigan, with Derrike now driving the #78. On Friday, they had two practices. In the first practice, Kevin was 39th with a best of 41.587 173.131 lap the best of 5 that he ran. Derrike had was 44th with a best of 41.854 172.027 lap the best of 3 that he ran. Those laps would not get either into the race compared to everyone else.

In the final practice, Kevin was 44th with a best of 42.047 171.237...

Kevin is going to be attempting the US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway this weekend. He is driving the #73 for Derrike, with Derrike withdrawing his entry for Pocono, he is now a late entry in the #78. Considering Pocono qualifying was rained out, good choice.

On Thursday, they had first practice. On Friday, they had second and final practice. Kevin was 33rd with a 24.107 133.505 lap among the 9 he ran in the first practice. In the second practice, Kevin was 24th with a 24.021...
